Application screenupdating in vba excel arkansas online dating
I have a form that i am using that I would like to update at certain points in the code.
I have the screenupdating set to false but it seems that this is keeping the userform from refreshing as well.
You will have to test this and loet me know if any errors occur and the line they occur on.
Good Morning Thanks for the quick response Re your comments Sensitivity issues precluded me attaching the relevant workbook and a mock up would not necessarilly be reflective of the complexity.
My Office and anti-virus software are current, I disabled all add-ins, I ran Off Cat, I disabled all animation. My default printer does not effect this (I tried the Document Writer and there was no difference).
Has anyone experienced this before and found a solution?
Ignore Remote Requests = True 'Clear certain entries in userform For Each onecontrol In Userform1. Over 300 properties and methods apply to Application but here are the mot important ones. application.screenupdating = false Is jut used to turn off the screen flickering which will make the code to run faster and it is used to speed up the performance of the macro alone I mean I have written a code for Worksheet_selectionchange event.I'm seeing a lot of posts about issues with Excel 2013 repainting the screen after running a macro but I have not seen a clear resolution to what I have been experiencing.
I have an existing workbook (which worked perfectly fine in 2010) and in the main sheet of the workbook there is an index of existing sheets for the user to select. If I switch from Excel to say Outlook and then return to Excel the selected sheet is repainted correctly.I have tried moving the code to another procedure and doing Screen Updating = False Call Routine Screen Updating = True This has not worked.
